"Remember where we come from."
A small group of Dunmer fleeing to Skyrim during the Red Year. Inspired by the book found at Refugees Rest east of Windhelm.
Somehow I feel the tragic behind the Dunmer having to flee their home (which was prophesized to them) and live at their hereditary enemies' doorsteps has not been depicted enough yet.
Done in ink-fineliner and watercolour pencils.

To bite my tongue and not rant about the many things this makes me think of (even from my own characters' perspective--you dont wanna hear all that LOL*shot* ) I have to say this;
It's been almost 200 years since Red Year... I -have- to wonder what is going on in Morrowind at this time. I mean, in lore Red Mountain was supposed to have erupted after the Battle of Red Mountain, but yet the Dunmer didnt flee then... It makes you wonder how long it's taking them to rebuild, or if it's really even possible (though on the Mainland would have more of a chance, but that brings up the Argonian Occupation...)
